T2M's Bluetooth 6.3 RF PHY is useful because the deliverable is larger than a radio macro. The TSMC 22nm ULL block comes with GDS2, a behavioral model for the analog and RF section, RTL for the digital section, and test benches. That package turns a silicon-proven transceiver into something an SoC team can validate inside its own flow before committing the physical design.
Mixed-signal IP reuse often fails at the boundary. The hard macro may meet its datasheet while integration assumptions around the modem, link layer, power states, or verification environment surface late. T2M includes dual-mode Classic and BLE operation, channel sounding, direction finding options, industrial temperature support, and a flexible modem that can also target IEEE 802.15.4. The models and benches let teams test those configuration choices against system requirements while the design is still cheap to change.
Teams licensing wireless IP should make executable verification collateral a purchase requirement, not a bonus line item. A lower royalty is not a bargain if the block arrives as GDS2 plus documentation and consumes a quarter of engineering time in lab bring-up. Vendors that cannot supply models, benches, and integration hooks will lose to IP blocks that can enter CI on day one.
